Axioms

Every system Round Online has locked — scoped by product, plus the studio-level axioms that apply across all of them.

We work axiom-first. Every system that holds a Round Online project together has its own document with a version number.

Axioms are scoped by product — each game and each piece of software has its own set. A small number of axioms sit at the studio level and apply across everything we make.

These apply to every Round Online project, regardless of medium. (4 systems · all in progress.)

How to read an axiom

Each axiom has:

  • An ID scoped by product (3Chess: A14, R3 · studio: V2, M5 · etc.) — citable from any post or paper
  • A statement — one or two sentences, no more
  • A derivation — what follows from it
  • A version — locked, working, or superseded

Some axioms turn out to be wrong. We bump the version and explain why. The changelog is public.

The Glossary is the only fully-published system page so far. The other locked systems have stub pages explaining scope and status; full axiom listings are being prepared.
